Cleshar launches the ‘TfL and women in construction initiative’

Cleshar, in partnership with TfL, is announcing the launch of this year’s Women in Construction and Engineering (WiTn3) programme.

As one of just 4 select programme sponsors, Cleshar will be offering site or office-based working opportunities as a host employer.

As such, we will enable 6 work placements for two weeks to successful candidates.

Upon completion of the placements, candidates will be guaranteed a face to face assessment or interview.

And will be offered the chance to formally apply for the role they have undertaken.

These placements will complement a two-week course, delivered by CONEL College, which covers CV-writing and interview skills.

Michael Hesnan, Joint Managing Director of Cleshar, said ‘We are extremely proud to be a lead organisation in this vital programme.

‘It is imperative for the future of our company that we attract the best available talent and our sponsorship of TfL’s brilliant WiTn3 is a clear indicator of our intent to remain at the forefront of encouraging women into construction and engineering.
